FORMAT

1. There are four groups in the tournament and each group has up to 4 teams.
2. Teams in each group will compete against three other teams from their group.
3. Each winning team will get 2 points per match, 1 point for a tie.
4. If one team forfeits a match, the other team will get 2 points.
5. There is no super over for tie in league stages.
6. The top two teams in the points table from each group will go to the

knockout round. In case of tie in points table NRR will decide the rankings

GENERAL RULES

1. A match will be played with 7 players, a side decided and named before the toss.
2. All players playing the game must wear the jersey provided by the committee

during the match. Without a jersey the player strictly won’t be allowed to play.

3. Each team will bowl 5 overs and bat 5 overs.
4. Five players must bowl exactly one over.
5. The keeper also can bowl. Keeper changes if not informed it’s a no ball.
6. The batting team can change the Substitute only at the end of the over.
7. One substitute is allowed per team.

Substitutes can play any time during the match, but the substitute can be changed only during the end of an over not in between. (Impact Player)

8. Powerplay Rules:

(1st Over) Mandatory Batting Powerplay – Only one Fielder in Boundary line. (2nd 3rd 4th 5th Over) Any one of these 4 overs Bowling Powerplay – 3 Fielders can stand in the Boundary line. Bowling team can choose which over they want Bowling powerplay as per their wishes.

9. The Umpire’s decision will be final for everything.
10. In case of a tie in knock outs, a super over will decide the winner.
11. Only two fielders allowed in the boundary area in Non – Powerplay overs.

The other 3 fielders excluding bowler and keeper should not cross the non-striker’s crease at the time of delivery.

12. No fielder is allowed to stand in straight to the stumps in boundary at the time

of the delivery. It will be a No ball.

13. Every No ball has free hit except Speed No ball.
14. No fast bowling and running bowling allowed,

The bowler will have to bowl the ball properly. (Spin or Medium pace).

15. Any ball that is bowled fast will be called a No ball by the umpire. Speed limit

68 kmph tracked with a speed machine. The runs Scored of the no ball will be counted for that speed, no ball.

16. Mankading is allowed as wicket.
17. Run reach allowed anytime during the match even if batsman did not hit the

ball. But running will not be counted.

18. All the matches will be played on the same day.
19. By- Runner Not allowed for any batsman unless and otherwise in case of serious

injury. The injury will be decided by the Umpire

SCORING AND WICKET RULES

1. A team can run as many runs as possible when the ball is hit with the bat.
2. No leg byes or byes.
3. Four runs will be awarded if the batsman hits a ball in boundary after a pitch

anywhere.

4. Six runs will be awarded if the batsman hits a ball directly in boundary.
5. Overthrows are allowed. If overthrow hits on 4 or 6 line it is given as four or six.
6. Catch, stumping, run out, hit wicket, bowled & mankading will all be considered out.
7. No LBW
8. Any ball that passes outside leg stump will be considered

wide unless it touches any part of the body of the batsman.

9. One run will be awarded to the batting team for each wide.
10. One run will be awarded to the batting team for a no-ball followed by a free hit.
11. Any ball that goes over the shoulder of the batsman will be considered one bounce

And if it is repeated in the same over it will be given a wide.
